Singhs Vietnamese is set to replace beloved ramen bowls eatery, Noodle Tree, in early 2026. According to the San Antonio Current, the homegrown mini-chain is preparing to take over the lease at 7114 UTSA Boulevard, where Noodle Tree recently closed. Noodle Tree owner, Chef Mike Nguyen broken the news, sharing that Singhs Vietnamese is the incoming tenant.

What Now San Antonio reached out Singhs Vietnamese owner, Eric Trevino, to try and find more details about the opening and when readers can expect to smell and taste the Singhs Vietnamese family addition, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

Singhs Vietnamese is a laid-back restaurant featuring homestyle Vietnamese cooking, a bar & colorful wall art. Singh’s Vietnamese started as a food truck in December 2012, then opened its brick-and-mortar restaurant on the St. Mary’s Strip in San Antonio in 2018, offering a Texas twist on Vietnamese dishes.

The new UTSA location will be the second restaurant in the area for the booming small-chain brand. The authentic Vietnamese spot has an adjacent Hill & Dales location, another UTSA gathering spot that opened just last summer.

While details about the exact opening date and whether or not the new location will indeed cook up and dish out the same delicious menu known and cherished at its other eateries are up in the air, you can expect to hear more details about the opening in the next couple of weeks.
