According to a recently submitted permit application, Smoothie King is expanding its San Antonio area presence, planning to debut a new outpost in Schertz early next year.
Coming to 18476 IH 35 N, Suite 125, the concept will land near establishments such as Bob Mills Furniture, Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, and SAS Shoes.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the location’s franchisee, Delia Gaona, to inquire about her plans for the spot, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that renovations to the 1,200-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on October 1 and finish on January 16, 2026. The project will be carried out by the Denton-based firm Richmond Group for an estimated $160,000.
The upcoming outpost will mark the chain’s first location in Schertz. Currently, locals have to visit Cibolo or Universal City if they find themselves craving a Smoothie King beverage.
