According to a recently submitted permit application, Starbucks plans to open a new location in the San Antonio area.
Coming to 1114 N. Loop E, just north of Hollywood Park, the outpost will soon neighbor establishments such as Embers Wood Fire Kitchen & Tap, Honmachi Sushi & Teppanyaki, and Krispy Kreme.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Starbucks Executive VP and President of North America, Sara Trilling, to inquire about the expansion, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.
Described as the “new construction of a single tenant shell with a drive-thru,” groundwork on the 2,186-square-foot space will begin on February 2, 2024, and be completed by August 1, 2023. For an estimated $1,250,000, Fort Worth-based firm Rogue Architects will carry out the project.
