Texas-based tea franchise HTeaO is opening its first outpost in Helotes.

According to a construction permit filed last year, the business has already finished retrofitting a 1,951-square-foot space at 12550 Bandera Road to accommodate the concept — neighboring eateries such as Babe’s Old Fashioned Food, Slim Chickens, and Starbucks.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, HTeaO is best known for its fresh-brewed, 100% broadleaf iced tea made with double-pass reverse osmosis water and ice, as well as coffee options. Since it was founded in 2009, the franchise has opened over 50 locations throughout the state and has 40 more listed as “coming soon” on its website.

As a certified YETI retailer, the chain is also a popular locale for patrons hoping to pick up a new cooler or insulated mug.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Franchisee Wanda Boller, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not yet been announced, so follow HTeaO on Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
