According to a recently submitted permit application, Suite 1115 at The Creamery — a space presently occupied by Crème Coffee & Social — will soon undergo renovations.
Located at 875 E Ashby Place, the Creamery is a mixed-use facility featuring apartments, office spaces, and restaurants centered around a historical building that was originally constructed in 1933, “designed by famous San Antonio art deco architects Atlee B. and Robert M. Ayres,” per its website.
Since then, it has undergone renovations and restorations, and is presently owned by Only 1 Hospitality. Additional dining options available within the development include the cocktail lounge Amelia, Costa Pacifica Margarita Garden, and the sports bar Tribute.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Moris Saide, the CEO of Only 1 Hospitality Group, to inquire about the renovations; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing states that the interior finish out of the 2,934-square-foot space — detailed as including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, building new walls, millwork, paint, and flooring — is scheduled to begin on August 15 and is expected to be completed by December 15, and will cost an estimated $465,753 to carry out.
