According to a recently submitted permit application, The Savoy at 122 E. Houston Street, Suite 103, will soon undergo renovations.
What Now San Antonio contacted Weston Urban — the development, leasing, and lending company that owns the property — but representatives could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.
Described as a “finish out in an existing multi-story historical building — combining two separate suites on the ground floor into a cafe,” construction will begin on January 15, 2024, and be completed in May. For an estimated $830,000, the project will be executed by local firm Insite Design & Planning.
The yet-to-be-named cafe’s cuisine and slated opening date have not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
