The Stout House is heading towards its next opening, and it’s a big one, so much so that social media is buzzing about the upcoming arrival. The Stout House is set to open its eighth location in the San Antonio Greater region. The new bar and eatery will open at 109 West Grayson, near the Pearl.
Though The Stout House will open in good company on Grayson, it is not to be considered a Pearl establishment. A distinction that could work wonders on your pockets.
“Because I don’t lease from the Pearl, I don’t have to charge Pearl prices,” The Stout House owner, Doug Ackerly, said in an interview with What Now San Antonio.
“I’ll have a pretty reasonable pricing structure down there that everybody can enjoy.”
And there’s a lot to enjoy!
The Stout House is known for its multitude of beer offerings. All Stout locations offer 20 draft beers, and this location will be no exception. The Stout House set to open on West Grayson will also offer at least five unique craft beers, some domestic beers, and other, more well-known craft beers. The new Stout House location will have two food concepts on site to help wash down all the suds.
“The whole point of those two concepts is to really service my customers, obviously they’ll do very well there too, and they’ll have a huge to-go community as well,” Ackerly said.
There will be a burger and a pizza concept. What Now San Antonio attempted to chat with the two new owners before the publishing of this article, but was unable to. As we learn more about the concepts, we will share the latest with you.
The two-story establishment that Ackerly is now pursuing will have two bars, one upstairs and one downstairs, and a huge backyard that seats 25, where Ackerly plans to set up a massive projector screen for the guests’ enjoyment.
“Come try us out,” Ackerly said.
The Stout House is set to open at 109 West Grayson this spring.
