Tia’s Taco Hut is set to open yet another location in San Antonio. The booming taqueria just closed on its first New Braunfels location, opened another on Evans Rd, and is now embarking on opening a new Tia’s Taco Hut in the Naco Retail Center at 7038 N Loop 1604, E Suite 100.

According to this recent state filing, construction on the new Tia’s Taco Hut is slated to start in the beginning of the year and wrap up by April 2026. In a brief conversation with owner Benny Costello, What Now Las Vegas was able to confirm that Tia’s Taco Hut lovers can rejoice in knowing that the new eatery will indeed open in April next year.

Benny is joined by his wife, Lisa, in this culinary endeavor. The Costellos also own and operate a handful of Mr. C’s Fried Chicken & Waffles throughout Alamo City.

Tia’s Taco Hut was founded by the Costellos in 2014 and has quickly gained momentum since. Defining itself as “an authentic Tex-Mex Restaurant [where] all recipes are made fresh in-house daily,” according to its Facebook page, Tia’s Taco Hut offers a variety of Tex-Mex dishes morning, noon, and night.

The menu includes everything from breakfast tacos and plates to soups, salads, tacos, burritos, a multitude of Texas classics, and more. Tia’s Taco Hut enthusiasts can expect the same Tex-Mex dishes at the new outpost.

While an official opening date has yet to be announced, Tia’s Taco Hut is expected to open up shop in the Naco Retail Center at 7038 N Loop 1604, E Suite 100 by April 2026.
