Nashville-style hot chicken concept Urban Bird Hot Chicken plans to debut two new outposts in San Antonio, according to MySA.

The first, currently undergoing interior renovations at 22106 US 281 N., Suite 102, will land near Stone Oak establishments such as Chipotle, Plantology, and Potbelly.

The second, coming to 8802 Potranco Road, Suite 111, will soon be neighbor to eateries including Bojangles and Burger Boy.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Brandon Gawthorp, the concept’s owner, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication. Nevertheless, according to the Urban Bird Hot Chicken website, both spots are “coming soon.”

For readers unfamiliar with Urban Bird, “The chain first opened in 2020 and has peppered at least a dozen locations throughout Houston, and a location in Round Rock north of Austin,” according to MySA.
