The restaurant also offers dishes like edamame, gyoza, and yakisoba. From its anime wall art to late-night hours, Nama Ramen quickly became a local favorite.

After ten years in San Antonio, Nama Ramen will close at the end of September. The restaurant has announced that it will serve its final dinner at the end of September, marking the end of a beloved chapter for many loyal customers.

The restaurant owner announced the closure news on Instagram, “After 10 amazing years, Nama is making our final call. This has not been a choice made easily or with a light heart. Our doors will close at the end of September or when we run out of supplies. This little concept has given me so many opportunities in life. It’s time to close this chapter and enter a new one.”

We started eating with you right after you opened. My boys have grown up eating with you. We have celebrated birthdays, after-school concert dinners, and date nights. This last Christmas Eve, you hosted for my family. It was the happiest I have seen that group in ages. You will be missed, and thank you for all the memories,” wrote one customer.

Though the restaurant has not given an official reason behind its decision to close down, it is leaving behind a legacy that will live on in the memories of those who have dined in. The San Antonio community will continue to remember the restaurant’s classic Japanese flavors and ramen bowls.
