According to a recently submitted permit application, the Dallas-based restaurant chain Sixty Vines is gearing up to debut its first location in Alamo City.

Coming to 15900 La Cantera Parkway, the eatery will land near establishments such as the American restaurant Marlin Bar, the steakhouse Palenque Grill, and Pressed Juicery.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the Sixty Vines, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Welcome to Sixty Vines – where great food, wine, and company come together to create unforgettable moments! As ‘the winemaker’s restaurant,’ we deliver wine country-inspired cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on our sustainable tap system. We invite you to be transported to the greatest wine regions around the globe with pours and pairings tailored to your palette.”

What Now San Antonio reached out to Sixty Vines CEO Jeff Carcara to inquire about what’s planned for the upcoming eatery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing reveals that renovations to the 8,701-square-foot existing restaurant space are scheduled to begin on October 1 and finish on January 30, 2026. For an estimated $2,500,000, the project will be managed by Irving-based firm Civitarese Morgan Architecture.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
