San Diego is ready to turn green with the 7th annual San Diego Leprechaun 5k and 1 Mile Kids Run. This run will be held on the morning of St. Patrick’s Day to kickstart the day full of celebrations. From daily runners and athletes to beginners and kids, this event is for everyone.
5K run is organized for adults. 1-mile kids run is a fun way to indulge children and drive them towards fitness. The lively atmosphere, swag kit, and complimentary drink raise the spirit of the event.

On the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day, the 7th annual Leprechaun Run is planned. The pulsating energy of San Diego people will fill the air of Pacific Beach. Two types of runs, 5K and 1 Mile, are organized to make it an all-inclusive event. Eligibility for 5K Run is above 12 years of age.
Adults aged 21 and above can show their IDs and get coupons for complimentary drinks.

Kids 1 Mile Run

The Leprechaun 1-mile Run is included in the event so that kids don’t miss a fun weekend. Children who are 12 years and under can participate. Parents or guardians can accompany kids in the run and wear matching bibs.

Course Map
The starting point, course map, and finish point for both races are the same. The race will begin at its respective times from 912 Garnet Avenue. Runners will then take the left turn onto Cass street and then a U-turn before the Turquoise St.
Then, again a left turn onto Garnet Avenue, where after 1.5 miles water station will be available. On the Garnet Avenue, a U-turn before Ingraham St. will lead the runners towards the finish line, which is again 912 Garnet Avenue.

Every participant can avail of their Leprechaun participant gear either on the same day of the event or before that. Though event day pick-up opens at 7:30 am, an early pickup is recommended.
Two days and two different locations will be offering early packet pickup.

Post the Leprechaun Run, there begins one more celebration. In the swag kit, participants receive complimentary drink coupons that can be redeemed at the beach club mentioned here. Those who want to use these coupons need to carry their IDs with them.
