BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is planning to add a new location in San Diego’s Mira Mesa. According to permit plans, the pizza chain will move into a 6,660 square foot space which formerly housed Mimi’s Cafe in Mira Mesa Market Center.
Headquartered in Huntington Beach, BJ’s Restaurants offers a SoCal twist on Chicago style pizza. With approximately 214 locations across the US, BJ’s operates six restaurants in the San Diego region.
Known for their deep dish pizzas like the Pepperoni Extreme and Great White Pizza, BJ’s offers a wide selection of entrees from Slow-Roasted Tri-Tip to Deep Dish Ziti Pasta. The chain is also known for their Lunch deals, Burgers, Pizookies, and of course their signature beers like the Brewhouse Blonde and Hopstorm IPA.
The latest BJ’s restaurant is yet to be added to the official location list in its early stages of planning. No word yet on when we can expect BJ’s location number seven to open in Mira Mesa.
