On the heels of their five year anniversary, Black Plague Brewing has announced a second taproom is underway. San Diego Beer News first reports the Oceanside-based brewery has secured their next venture in Escondido.

Black Plague along with food partners Full Metal Burgers will move into the 2,400-square-foot space which formerly housed a beer distribution company. The location also comes complete with 1,400 square feet of outdoor space for additional seating.

Known for their distinctly dark theme and signature Plague Doctor adorning their can designs, the skater-owned brewery partners with pro skateboarders like Tony Hawk as ambassadors of Black Plague Brewing.

Popular beers from Black Plague include Tony Hawps West Coast IPA, Bring Out Your Dead American IPA, and In My Darkest Sour, a Kettle Sour in a variety of fruit-forward flavors.

Reports say the taproom is expected to open in late August 2022, with food service coming later. Keep updated on progress of the Escondido location by following their new Instagram.
