BomBom BakeHouse, the popular Churrería & donut shop concept found near the border, is preparing to open a new brick-and-mortar in Barrio Logan.

The fast-growing sweet shop is getting ready to expand its presence in San Diego, with a new location opening by the end of the year. BomBomBakeHouse has made a name for itself with its delicious churros, maritozzo, and bombolinis from its storefront in Otay Mesa at 8765 Mesa Point Terrace and at its various pop-ups throughout San Diego, such as at the Oceanside Sunset Market, the Ocean Beach Farmer market, and CRSSD Music Festival.

While the exact location of the company’s second brick-and-mortar is unknown, Barrio Logan will be an excellent area for the expansion. On top of the delicious sweets, the company has become known for also offering seasonal goodies, such as the S’mores Bombolini. The company tells What Now San Diego the new location is expected to open by year-end. The new site proves the concept is popular with big events, as BomBom BakeHouse recently popped up at the Power Trip Music Festival in Coachella Valley.

“God willing, we will at least be ready for pickup, and Uber eats in November,” ownership tells What Now San Diego via social media. “Fully open to the public, we are pushing before the year is up. We selected a building because of its location, yet it’s an older building that is requiring more work than we anticipated.”
