A brand new brunch spot called Camellia’s Brunch is getting ready to debut in Bonita at 4538 Bonita Road.

The new breakfast eatery will replace Oceanos Seafood & Sushi, according to the company’s Instagram. Owner Francisco Sandoval tells What Now San Diego that they hope to open around January 24-26, offering various breakfast and lunch options, tea, and coffee. Camellia’s Brunch will likely also have alcoholic options, such as mimosas. This will be a perfect location for the company’s debut, sitting on the outskirts of the Bonita Centre shopping mall.

While there are plenty of options nearby to get a bite to eat in the morning, such as a smoothie at Mango.Mango Fresh and Healthy or a breakfast burrito from Lolita’s Mexican Food or Cotijas, this will be the only business in the area specializing in brunch. The only nearby competition for Camellia’s Brunch will be Better Buzz, Donny’s Cafe, and Franco’s Flapjack Family Restaurant. Regardless of these competitors, the new brunch spot should see plenty of success in this location, considering the many parks and golf courses nearby, making this a perfect place to start any day.

“Mornings Are About to Get Better, Bonita! Camellia’s bringing something special to your mornings,” according to the company’s social media. “From freshly brewed coffee to delicious breakfast classics, we can’t wait to serve you the perfect start to your day.”
