Two properties called The Mercantile Collective are currently in development in North County. The project is by Fabric Design, the urban development team behind the Tremont Collective in Oceanside and State Street Commons in Carlsbad. Retail Insite will handle leasing of the highly desirable Oceanside property.

The building, which formerly held a medical supply store, will be transformed by Fabric Design to accent an Art-Deco Style. To round out the exciting new project, units inside have been snatched up by Corner Pizza and Artifex Brewing.

Corner Pizza currently operates a pizza and wine bar in Leucadia. Lucky enough, they’ll also hold the 2,000 square foot corner position in the new Mercantile property.

Next door, Artifex Brewing will bring their San Clemente brews to Oceanside. The brewery also has a taproom open in Del Mar. They’ll move into a 1,225 square foot tasting room.

According to Retail Insite construction has begun and the project is expected to finalize in Spring 2022. Restaurants on-site are projected to open their doors Summer 2022. Check out the Mercantile Collective on Instagram for developments.
