The drive-thru Starbucks on the corner of Orpheus Avenue and Leucadia Boulevard will soon share a building with a new burger joint, Crispy Burger. It appears the new eatery will take up residence in the space previously occupied by Subway. Speaking with What Now San Diego, owner Ramzy Rahib confirmed the debut and added, “we’re still a month and a half from opening.”
Lease intel obtained by What Now San Diego indicates the new tenant for 905 Orpheus Avenue will take over the 760 square-foot retail space in September of this year.
Crispy Burger has already caused some stir among the Nextdoor crowd, with commenters noticing the signage out front. Among the new eatery’s neighbors are Landmark Plant Co, Ways Market, and, a little jaunt down the Leucadia Blvd, Quality Inn Encinitas.
