Duck Foot Brewing Company is looking North for its second San Diego tasting room. SanDiegoVille first reported the Miramar-based brewery will replace Kings & Convicts, formerly Saint Archer, in the Leucadia area of Encinitas.
Last week San Diego Beer News reported that Kings & Convicts abruptly closed their 1,200-square-foot location in Leucadia. Duck Foot has now claimed the location on the map and submitted for its ABC permit on North Coast Highway.
Founder Matt Delvecchio, aka Head Quack, created Duck Foot Brewing after a diagnosis of Celiac Disease left him searching for gluten-free beer options. The Miramar brewery was introduced in 2015, featuring a lineup of gluten-reduced beers.
Using 100% of the traditional ingredients to make beer, Duck Foot doesn’t skimp on the variety of beer styles served. Duck Foot produces an imaginative lineup of beers completely safe for gluten-intolerant beer fanatics with options like Liquid Jam IPA and Duckzilla Double White IPA, plus special limited releases and barrel-aged Belgian beer styles.
An opening timeline for Duck Foot Brewing in Leucadia has not been announced yet. For more information on their expansive lineup of gluten-reduced beers, visit their Website.
