El After Social Club is the latest dance club headed to the Gaslamp Quarter. According to a recent food permit filing, El After is due to replace Nicolosi’s On Fifth. Nicolosi’s closed their Downtown location earlier this year, relocating to Santee

Details are under wraps on what to expect from El After but their social media pages promise a dance/nightclub. The location is still listed as a restaurant but no clues just yet as to what cuisine will be served.

Behind El After Social Club is local restaurant operator Daniel Garibay. Garibay also owns El Zarape Mexican Restaurant, Tachido Sushi, and founder of Así Suena Productions which books various Latin musicians and events in local venues.

What Now San Diego was unable to reach Garibay for additional details on El After Social Club. An opening date is yet to be announced. For more information, follow El After on Instagram
