El Pueblo Mexican Food is in the process of building out its fourth restaurant. The fast-casual restaurant and bar will replace Death By Tequila at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch in Carmel Valley

General Manager Nony Funes tells What Now San Diego that the new location will offer its tried and true menu of traditional Mexican food and a well-known cocktail program.

Family-owned El Pueblo Mexican Food debuted in 2010 in a 600-square-foot shop in Cardiff. They have since expanded to Del Mar, Carlsbad, and will now debut in Carmel Valley.

Guests can expect an all-day menu featuring the loaded Carne Asada Fries, Chile Relleno Burrito, Breakfast Bowls, and their famous Fish Tacos offered at $1.19 all day, every day! You won’t want to miss their daily happy hour featuring $5 beers on draft, and $7 Margaritas with Cazadores Tequila.

El Pueblo Mexican Food in Carmel Valley is expected to open in August 2023. In the meantime, order direct or visit one of their open restaurants by visiting their website. Follow on Instagram for a giveaway announcement coming soon for free entry to the Grand Opening event in Carmel Valley.
