With its founding in 2008 in Pacific Beach, Fig Tree Cafe was Rise & Shine Hospitality Group owner Johan Engman’s first entry into the daytime restaurant scene. As Fig Tree Cafe quickly became one of San Diego’s established breakfast locations, it is now set to open its fourth location in Mission Valley on February 1, 2023.

Fig Tree Cafes specialities include Huevos Rancheros, French Toast creations, chef-curated Benedicts, and lunch options like the Grilled Turkey Sandwich. Plus a selection of morning libations including Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and house cocktails such as their Espresso Martini and Spicy Strawberry Margarita.

Each location is uniquely designed to fit the neighborhood niche and the four establishments share a commitment to using fresh, local ingredients, selecting produce and eggs from a family farm in Ramona and giving back to their respective communities.

Fig Tree Cafe Mission Valley is housed at 7710 Hazard Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92108.
