Five Oceans Fish Market has big plans to fill their new space at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch Shopping Mall in Carmel Valley. “It’s been a long time coming,” according to owner Steven Auerbach (also known as Brad). What Now San Diego spoke with Steven ahead of their Market opening on Wednesday, September 8th. Like many others in the restaurant industry, insufficient staff has been an ongoing fight in order to properly serve clientele.
The priority at this point in time is opening the fresh seafood market so Five Oceans can introduce their products to the public after a long wait. For now the business will focus on their display of fresh fillets, mussels, lobster, oysters, and much more. Steven promises many more offerings in store for their new community, “Phase One is opening the market. Phase Two is building the outside railing for seating, finishing off the kitchen for food service, and getting staff in place.”
The company is designing the space over time to include indoor and outdoor dining service, Sunday Brunch specials, and weekday Happy Hour. The business supports sustainable fishing practices and maintains high standards for their partnerships with local and commercial fisherman. Follow them on Instagram for more info.
