In addition to the upcoming multi-concept dining venue launching in the former Little Italy Food Hall, Tiger Hospitality will also open Good Enough Cocktail Club in the neighboring space at 555 W Date Street, Suite B.

The new concept will be moving into the former home of Basta, the Italian wine bar by local culinary personality Sam “The Cooking Guy” Zien, which closed earlier this year, according to SanDiegoVille. Good Enough Cocktail Club is described as “your neighborhood cocktail bar with hifi aesthetics,” and is expected to open in either late 2025 or early 2026.

The 1,646-square-foot venue, previously reported on by What Now, includes a 700-square-foot patio and is expected to open by the end of 2025. While specific details about the cocktail program remain under wraps, the venue aims to offer a stylish and design-forward environment focused on quality drinks and community.

Meanwhile, the former Little Italy Food Hall, located at 550 W. Date Street, is undergoing a complete redesign by BASILE Studio. The 4,685-square-foot space will feature five distinct culinary concepts alongside dessert kiosks and a reoriented indoor-outdoor bar. Confirmed vendors include Cosmos Burger, Lobster Lab, and La Vida, with additional concepts like Detroit-style pizza and fresh pasta in development.

Both projects are part of Tiger Hospitality’s broader vision to bring dynamic dining and social experiences to the bustling Piazza della Famiglia, a popular destination that saw 1.1 million visits in 2024.
