Hitokuchi Sake Lounge by Hidden Fish Omakase will make their long-awaited debut in Kearny Mesa in the Fall. The new bar will open just a few steps from their sister restaurant Hidden Fish, in the neighboring space. 

The opening of Hidden Fish’s new concept has been over two years in the making. The San Diego Union Tribune’s list of most anticipated restaurants in 2020. 

Hidden Fish, by Owner and Chef John “Kappa” Hong opened in 2018, introduced as Omakase-style dining. Omakase referring to the Japanese term which translates to, “I’ll leave it up to you,” the Hidden Fish menu is kept fresh and creative by Hong. 

Hitokuchi’s menu will focus on Japanese small bites paired with an expertly sourced list of premium Sake and wine.
