Fisher’s Group, with its 31 locations around the globe, is slated to bring their seafood eatery to San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. Expected to open in late October, Fisher’s San Diego will be led by Executive Chef and Partner Nino Franco.

Franco, who has held several other positions within the company, shares Fisher’s Group’s vision of ensuring quality in every step of their process, from the time their fresh-caught seafood arrives at their processing plant, all the way to the moment it gets put on a plate and delivered to the customer’s table.

Fisher’s San Diego will introduce Mexican seafood style of cuisine to Little Italy. The new 8,700 square foot restaurant, which is filling the space of the former Roma Urban Market, will feature an oyster and raw seafood bar, and a menu featuring anything from tacos and chilaquiles to prepared coastal seafood.

The Fisher’s Group brand operates its own seafood processing plant and transportation network to deliver fresh catch to each of its restaurants. With most of their locations scattered throughout Mexico, the Fisher’s Brand is expanding its global reach in 2022. San Diego will host their first US eatery, with another location that opened earlier this year in Madrid. The company expects this new international presence to continue expanding to new locations.
