Partake Gastropub recently announced on social media that they were closing down after four years in operation in Vista. Due to replace Partake, is a sports-themed restaurant and bar called Jackson’s Sports Bar and Grill

What Now San Diego spoke with new owner Jack Nielsen, who shares that locals can expect and traditional sports bar with elevated pub fare. Nielsen is in the process of setting up the space with eight TVs, complete with a Sunday ticket package for viewing must-see games.

The menu at Jackson’s is sure to complement the game-viewing events held at the new bar, with lots of appetizer options, shareable plates, and comfort food. Neilsen mentions a few of its scratch-made dishes highlighted on the menu, like the Chicken Fried Steak, Fish and Chips, and Texas BBQ Burger, made with never-frozen beef.

An official opening announcement for Jackson’s Sports Bar and Grill is expected in August 2023. Follow the business on its Facebook page for updates.
