The King of Padel, a sports club featuring six courts each for pickleball and padel and on-site food and drink options, is preparing to open a new location at 4656 Morena Blvd in San Diego’s Bay Park neighborhood.
The company’s second San Diego location is set to open near the city’s first Costco, which opened in 1976 under the Price Club name, according to a recent liquor license application. It’s unclear when the owners expect to open this location, but it will be the second in San Diego, following 4370 Jutland Drive, and the third overall, including a site in San Antonio at 314 Nolan Street. While The King of Padel is focused on creating a welcoming space for all pickleball players, the sites also include plenty of food and drink options.
King of Padel offers a menu designed to satisfy both athletes and food enthusiasts. It features fresh, flavorful meals made with locally sourced ingredients. From hearty wood-fired chicken and fresh salads to crowd-pleasing sides and tasty snacks, the diverse selection ensures there’s something for everyone. Guests can enjoy their meals in welcoming indoor or outdoor seating areas or opt for convenient grab-and-go options between matches. Whether refueling after a game or relaxing at the end of the day, King of Padel provides wholesome dishes in a vibrant setting.
“Whether you’re looking to challenge your friends or improve your game, our premier indoor courts at The King of Padel offer the perfect setting,” according to the company’s website. “Open year-round, we provide a state-of-the-art facility catering to beginners and seasoned players.
