Three years in the making, La Cucina Trattoria will finally open doors in Fallbrook. A sister restaurant to La Cucina Osteria in Carlsbad, La Cucina Trattoria will feature a more upscale experience.
Owner Jesse Garg tells What Now San Diego that while the location had been secured long ago, he opted to hold off on opening La Cucina Trattoria until the pandemic-related restrictions on restaurants had settled down.
Now the wait is almost over and Garg has resubmitted plans to the city to open the fine dining restaurant.
La Cucina Trattoria will feature a full bar, three dining areas with banquet capabilities, and two outdoor patios in the front and back of the restaurant. On the menu, guests can expect traditional Italian dishes featuring scratch-made sauces like Lasagna Classico, seafood pastas, and Chef’s Specials like Chicken Marsala.
Garg opened La Cucina Osteria in Carlsbad earlier this year, featuring a similar menu of Italian dishes but in a quick-service environment. The Fallbrook location will feature a more high end dining experience with attentive table service and gourmet options. Both restaurants will offer Italian catering services for special events and gatherings.
