New on the scene in Old Town Temecula, Landeros Mexican Grill + Cantina will debut on 5th Street on the ground floor of the Cameron Historical Building. The restaurant will replace the shuttered Il Tramonto Ristorante.
According to social media, the restaurant comes from the same ownership team as El Ranchito Taco Shops in Temecula and Murrieta. The new cantina veers away from taqueria-style, fast-casual dining and looks to offer an upscale version of authentic Mexican cuisine.
We’ve yet to get a sneak peek at the future food and cocktail menu but their Instagram currently shows some behind the scenes videos of creative design elements inside the restaurant.
Their design team have artfully constructed a standout centerpiece inside the space, building a tree structure made from bits of wood pieced together.
