Latchkey Brewing have clarified a recent change to their ABC license, heading over to the site of Viewpoint Brewing in Del Mar to continue brew operations. After closing down their facility and taproom on Hancock Street at Mission Brewery Plaza, the fate of the brewery seemed hazier than usual for local beer drinkers.

According to San Diego Beer News, the team from Latchkey are finalizing plans for their next home after deciding against signing on for a new lease at the historic Mission Brewery spot. Until plans are confirmed for their next brewing facility, they’ll be producing Latchkey beers from the home of Viewpoint.

Latchkey Co-Founder Matt West assures the locals that their brewery has not tapped out. Although they do not currently have a flagship taproom, their team will continue brewing and self-distributing to restaurants and bottle shops across the county.

Their next spot remains unannounced for now, keep updated by following Latchkey Brewing on Instagram. Check out their Website for a list of local retailers to keep drinking Latchkey beers.
