Nekter Juice Bar is opening a new storefront in the Tower 180° building in the heart of downtown, at 124 W Broadway.
The health-centric, fast-casual eatery will serve its handcrafted juices, smoothies, and acai bowls in the space adjacent to Mendocino Farms and Blue Bottle coffee shop.
Founded in 2010 by wife and husband Alexis and Steve Schulze, Nekter has more than 150 locations and over 200 “additional franchises awarded,” according to the company’s website. It’s unclear who the franchisee is of the planned downtown outpost, or when it will open, as reps for the chain did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Tower 180° is a newish 360,000 square foot, 25-story office tower, developed by Hammer Ventures. Among the property’s key features is a rooftop venue that’s available for receptions and corporate events.
Several retail spaces remain available in the building, Urban Strategies Group, the real estate firm that brokered the Nekter, wrote on its social media this week. Urban Strategies Group is representing the company “as they expand across San Diego.” Additional locations have not yet been announced.
