Construction is underway at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Redwood Street, building a new mixed use development project called Secoya on Fifth. The project by Bishop Ventures will include affordable housing, ground-floor retail, and other community amenities like a spa and rooftop terrace. North Park Beer Company have filed a permit with the city for a taproom at the site in Banker’s Hill.

Open since 2016, North Park Beer Company has held down the fort in their warm and inviting facility on University Avenue. The brand stayed strong through the pandemic, turning their beautiful taproom into a high-operational canning facility to pump out even more product while their on-site restaurant was not in use. Their new patio seating became highly-coveted while indoor bar service was off the table, and in September 2021 their popular Art is Hard Hazy IPA won Silver at the Great American Beer Festival competition.

What we know so far suggests the brewery is ready to expand with a second taproom location just down the street from Pure Project Brewing and Biergarten, which is located below a similar mixed-use housing structure called The Park Banker’s Hill

No other confirmed details on the project are available at this point. We are staying close for updates by following North Park Beer Co. on Instagram
