After a series of updates to its location lineup over previous years and a closure in La Jolla, Pannikin Coffee and Tea is expected to bring another spot to North County soon. According to a recent permit filing, Pannikin Oceanside is expected to replace The Bunker House Cafe and Social Lounge which closed its doors last month.

Pannikin Coffee and Tea is expected to be installed at the base of the historic Bunker House built in 1886. You can currently find Pannikin operating a flagship cafe in the Leucadia area of Encinitas, plus two additional sites in the San Diego International Airport operated by High Flying Foods.

Established in 1968, Pannikin Coffee and Tea has held a solid place in the San Diego coffee scene. Pannikin prides itself on its freshly roasted coffee, with an expansive menu of espresso-based drinks, carefully selected teas, and food options like breakfast sandwiches, toasts, fruit and granola bowls, sandwiches, wraps, and more.

An opening date for Pannikin Oceanside has not been announced. An Instagram page for the Oceanside location has been made to share details soon.
