The owners of Barrio Logan Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Bo, are planning a new Seafood concept next door to their current restaurant. Both restaurants are located in Mercado Del Barrio shopping complex beneath the Estrella Del Mercado Apartments.

Crab City will be taking over the space previously occupied by Dough Nations, which closed in August. The restaurant is steps from Chicano Park and neighbors Oi Asian Fusion Restaurant and the Liberty Call Distilling Tasting Room. Their menu will feature Cajun-style seafood dishes like crawfish, crab, and shrimp.

What Now San Diego reached out to Owners ThuHang Le and Truc Nguyen for comment but did not receive a response before publication.

Staff on-site at Pho Bo say to expect Crab City to open at the end of October. The space looks unchanged since Dough Nations moved out, including their outdoor patio still set up with branded tables overlooking the Barrio Logan Archway.

For updates and rendering photos of the new space, visit the Crab City Facebook. Their website is still under development.
