Ramen King Keisuke has secured its third location in San Diego. Originally the restaurant proposed Carlsbad as its target location and according to site plans, Ramen King Keisuke is the latest dining destination to join The Beacon La Costa shopping mall.

Last year, the ramen chain announced it was scouting San Diego to place three locations in the region. The restaurant has secured places in Mission Valley and Del Mar’s One Paseo shopping center for its first two spots. Ramen King Keisuke currently operates two locations in LA.

Named after the chef and acclaimed “Ramen King,” Keisuke Takeda, the brand selected the Los Angeles and San Diego foodie scenes for its US debut. Takeda is the creator of 17 restaurant concepts in Singapore and won the coveted title of Ramen Champion at the 2011 Tokyo Ramen Championship competition.

Showcasing Chef Keisuke Takeda’s extensive training in Japanese cuisine without a hefty price tag, Ramen King Keisuke locations incorporate technology like sushi-making machinery and quick-order kiosks for guests.

Guests can expect to find a straightforward menu of Ramen bowls and maki rolls, with three main Ramen specialties: Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and Lobster Broth Ramen. Guests can indulge in their signature Tonkotsu Ramen for as low as $9.95.

An opening date for Ramen King Keisuke in Carlsbad is unclear in its early phase of planning. Stay updated by following the brand on Instagram.
