Ramen Nagi will soon bring their top-quality ramen to San Diego, opening their first area location and fifth US restaurant at Westfield UTC in La Jolla.

Since it was established in 2004 by Chef Satoshi Ikuta, Ramen Nagi now operates over 35 locations across Japan, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Ikota first introduced Ramen Nagi to the US with locations in Palo Alto and San Jose.

Last year, Ramen Nagi expanded to Southern California, opening at Westfield Century City Mall then at Westfield Santa Anita Mall.

“There is a tremendous demand for authentic Japanese ramen in San Diego County. We are very excited to introduce our ramen noodles to an entirely new audience. This will be the first Ramen Nagi in San Diego County,” shares Ramen Nagi in a statement to What Now San Diego.

Rooted in Japanese ramen culture, Ramen Nagi is known for their perfect noodles and signature broths. Guests can customize their bowls based on their flavor preferences, with base broth options like the Original King (a tonkotsu pork broth), Red King (spicy), Veggie King, Black King (made with squid ink and black garlic), and Green King (a fusion of tonkotsu with basil and olive oil). Noodles are taken seriously with your choice of thickness and firmness, plus your preferred vegetable, meat, and toppings of your liking.

Ramen Nagi is projected to join Westfield UTC in Winter 2022. Take a tour of their menu by visiting their website and follow on Instagram for updates.
