Ramen Nagi opened its doors earlier this month at Westfield UTC in La Jolla. The restaurant will continue its Grand Opening celebration with more exclusive offerings to add to its “Limited King” ramen lineup soon.
Since it was established in 2004 by Chef Satoshi Ikota, Ramen Nagi has grown to operate over 35 locations across Japan, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
Ikota first introduced Ramen Nagi to the US with locations in Palo Alto, San Jose, and has since popped up in Southern California Westfield Malls in Century City and Santa Anita.
Rooted in Japanese ramen culture, Ramen Nagi is known for their handcrafted noodles and rich signature broths. Guests can customize their bowls based on their flavor preferences, with base broth options like the Original King (a tonkotsu pork broth), Red King (spicy), Veggie King, Black King (made with squid ink and black garlic), and Green King (a fusion of tonkotsu with basil and olive oil). Noodles are taken seriously with your choice of thickness and firmness, plus your preferred vegetable, meat, and toppings of your liking.
