Sands Coffee Roasters, known for its authentic Turkish coffee and original Dubai Chocolate Bars, is preparing to open a new location at 2605 Oceanside Blvd, #H, in Oceanside.

The new storefront will occupy the former home of Aguie’s Upholstery, a longtime local business that served the community for over a decade with custom upholstery services. Founded by two brothers with a deep-rooted love for specialty coffee, Sands Coffee Roasters is a family-owned business making a name for itself in the San Diego coffee scene. The duo brings years of roasting experience and a shared passion for quality, ethically sourced beans from the world’s top coffee-growing regions. Their goal is to deliver fresh, flavorful brews while supporting sustainable and responsible trade practices.

What began as a personal passion project has grown into a professional venture built on curiosity, craft, and consistency. Through meticulous sourcing and precise roasting, the company has earned a reputation among coffee enthusiasts and aims to share that dedication with both residents and visitors. Although an official opening date has not been announced, the owners have submitted plans to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality, signaling that the new cafe is on its way.

Sands Coffee Roasters offers more than just expertly brewed coffee. The business seeks to deepen appreciation for specialty coffee by highlighting the unique flavors, aromas, and origins behind every cup. With a focus on innovation and ongoing learning, the company aims to create an inclusive coffee experience that appeals to both connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike.

The menu at Sands is thoughtfully curated to cater to a variety of tastes. Hot drink offerings include classics like espresso, cappuccino, flat white, macchiato, cortado, mocha, and Spanish latte, as well as pour-over options such as V60, Chemex, and Kalita. Cold drink selections range from iced drip coffee and nitro cold brew to specialty creations like espresso tonic, cappuccino freddo, and affogato. For those looking beyond coffee, the cafe offers a range of options, including red velvet, hot chocolate, matcha, and a refreshing variety of virgin mojitos in mint, raspberry, and watermelon flavors. A selection of fresh bakery items and Mediterranean pastries complements the menu, offering a well-rounded experience that blends flavor, tradition, and creativity.
