Shootz Golf Studio, a high-tech indoor sports and game simulator concept, is set to open in San Marcos at 1325 Grand Avenue, Suite 105.
The new concept is planned for the space next to Craft Coast Brewery, according to a recently submitted liquor license application. Led by Daniel Hayden and Shawn Stahl, the studio will feature a 3,000-square-foot facility where customers can play golf, soccer, baseball, football, and other interactive games year-round. The company’s website shows a countdown, signaling a grand opening set for April 1st. An early-bird special is currently being offered at $295 for a package of 10 60-minute golf & game simulator sessions, half the normal price.
Shootz Golf Studio is designed to be more than a simulator. The concept emphasizes competition, social connection, and fun for all ages, including corporate memberships, team outings, birthday celebrations, and holiday parties. Its multi-sport simulators allow players to practice their swing, score goals, or take on unique challenges like virtual zombie adventures.
The menu and beverage program will feature beer and other options, supported by the submitted Type 40–On-Sale Beer liquor license, while the focus remains on interactive sports and gaming experiences. Shootz’s flexible offerings aim to engage both serious players and casual participants looking for a fun social outing.
Shootz Golf Studio represents a new indoor entertainment option for San Marcos, combining technology-driven gameplay, group events, and family-friendly activities in a single location. Its combination of multi-sport simulators and event services positions it as a unique venue for residents and visitors.
