The Chula Vista based Taco Lounge is working on bringing a second location to the new Escaya Village. According to real estate company Flocke & Avoyer, Taco Lounge will join Broady’s House of Flavors, Pride N Joy Pet Grooming, and Escaya Wine & Spirits at The Shops at Escaya

Established in 2017, Taco Lounge offers authentic Mexican food in a fast-casual setting. They serve up a full menu of loaded burritos, quesadillas, and TJ-style tacos in handmade corn tortillas.

The Shops at Escaya is a mixed-use development next to Otay River, and closeby North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre and the Sesame Place Theme Park. The Shops are the hub of the village, with the advantage of serving a plethora of new residential complexes.

A rep for Taco Lounge says they’re working through delays and hope to be open in late-March 2022. Follow their Facebook page for updates and details.
