Tea Monks, a local eatery serving boba, smoothies, and slushies, is getting ready to open a new location in National City at 3030 Plaza Bonita Rd.

The company’s fourth location is set to move into Westfield Plaza Bonita, according to documents submitted to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality. There’s no exact timeline for the opening, considering the application is still being reviewed. Tea Monks has locations in the Parkway Plaza in El Cajon, the North County Mall in Escondido, and the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. Now, the company will continue its regional takeover via popular shopping centers.

When the new National City location opens later this year, customers can expect various delicious organic options made with 100 percent real fruits. Each drink’s sugar level can be modified to match preferred sweetness levels. In addition to a handful of teas, slushies, lemonades, and smoothies, Tea Monks also offers macaron sandwiches in coffee, vanilla, green tea, strawberry, and mango.

“At Tea Monks, our mission is to inspire moments of love and connection by crafting exceptional Boba tea experiences,” according to the company’s website. “Through our commitment to quality, creativity, and genuine human connection, we strive to radiate love and spread joy, nurturing both the body and the soul. Join us on this journey of taste, mindfulness, and the extraordinary power of tea to transform lives.”
