Proprietor James Limjoco is set to open Mak Mak Organic in Oceanside, offering healthy and organic street food.
Limjoco formerly owned Sublime Ale House, which closed in mid-September. It was a popular location known for its extensive craft beer offerings. In a similar vein, Mak Mak Organic will feature house-made kombucha, hard seltzers, and curated craft beers.
Non-GMO house-made tofu and ethically sourced chicken will be staples of Mak Mak Organic’s menu. Limjoco also emphasized thoughtfully prepared accompaniments and house-made sauces.
Two blocks from the beach, the restaurant will be located at 121 North Cleveland Street. The chic and casual location will offer indoor and outdoor patio seating.
“We’re going to be one of the more affordable places,” Limjoco told What Now San Diego. “We don’t have a freezer, everything is free-range; everything is organic…I just want to get good food to people.”
Limjoco’s vision for Mak Mak Organic is to provide healthy and affordable street food to Oceanside’s visitors and residents.
Though a firm opening date is not set, Limjoco is aiming for late Spring 2022.
