A new authentic Indian restaurant is expected to join MarketPlace Del Rio soon. According to a recent permit filing, Tikka Masala Hut will introduce its new concept in Oceanside.
Owner Parveen Saini confirms with What Now San Diego that Tikka Masala Hut has moved into the second-generation restaurant space and is currently working through the permitting process. Saini shares that the space was formerly occupied by Waba Grill which closed in 2019. Now Tikka Masala Hut will transform the location into an authentic Indian restaurant.
While the official menu is still in development, Tikka Masala Hut shares a preview of the business in its Google listing, “From the moment you enter Tikka Masala Hut, you will be greeted by the warm aroma of freshly ground spices that fill the air. Our expert chefs, skilled in the art of Indian culinary traditions, combine these aromatic spices with the freshest local ingredients to create a symphony of flavors that will transport you straight to the bustling streets of India.”
An opening date is unclear at this stage of planning. A website and social media for Tikka Masala Hut is in the works soon.
