Toasted looks to be planning another location of its gastrobrunch concept in La Mesa. According to a new business filing with the County of San Diego, a new Toasted will join the existing Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza at Grossmont Trolley Center

After setting up two locations in Las Vegas, Toasted debuted its first California location in Carlsbad before closing in late 2022. Under its parent company, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, Toasted opened a dual-concept restaurant at the SALT mixed-use development in Oceanside.

Known for its unique sweet and savory breakfast items, fruity mimosas, and breakfast cocktails, Toasted is a go-to spot for Instagram-worthy brunch. Toasted transitions from a.m. to p.m. with dinner offerings by Sammy’s like flatbread, pasta, and entrees like Grilled Octopus.

No word from the team at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza just yet on what we can expect from the new Toasted spot in East County. For now, visit the Toasted website for more information.
