Top Sushi & Oyster, a Nevada-based seafood restaurant with two soon-to-be-three locations, is getting ready to expand into California with a new site in Clairemont at 7325 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.

The company’s fourth location will move into a vacant space in the Independence Square shopping center, sitting between SPOT KTV and Mikami Bar & Revolving Sushi, according to a recent liquor license. Top Sushi & Oyster has two locations open in the greater Las Vegas area in Henderson and on Las Vegas Boulevard South, while a third is under construction at Orange Grove at Rhodes Ranch, the retail center on the northwest corner of the intersection of South Durango Drive and West Warm Springs Road.

It’s unclear when the new San Diego site is expected to open. It’s an interesting decision to land in this spot, considering Top Sushi & Oyster is known for its all-you-can-eat sushi options and will sit next to another sushi restaurant. Nonetheless, when this new location opens, customers can expect generous portions and high-quality sushi, especially the nigiri options with a perfect rice-to-protein ratio. The restaurant also impresses with its diverse menu, including favorites like the soft shell crab, oysters, and Korean toast.

“Top Sushi & Oyster prides itself on delivering top-notch service alongside an excellent menu selection,” according to the company’s website. “The fresh and high-quality ingredients used in each dish contribute to a dining experience that exceeds expectations. The restaurant’s dedication to providing a superior ratio of nigiri sushi to rice ensures that each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors. Whether you are a sushi enthusiast or looking to explore new flavors, Top Sushi & Oyster has something for everyone. From the moment you walk in, you are treated to an array of delectable options that will leave you craving more. The seamless fusion of Japanese, seafood, and Asian flavors creates a culinary symphony that delights the senses.”
