On July 11, the long-running restaurant chain welcomed San Diego residents to its debut outlet in the city at 901 Bayfront Court, Suite 105. Mastro’s Restaurants announced the new location on Instagram. This marked the popular chain’s 10th outlet in California.
Located along the Embarcadero, the new restaurant serves up Mastro’s signature steaks, seafood, and more. Executive Chef Jennifer Jones helms the culinary operations at Mastro’s Ocean Club, San Diego.

A Thoughtfully Developed Waterfront Restaurant
Keeping up with its sophisticated dining experience, Mastro’s Restaurants has incorporated coastal luxury elements into its San Diego outlet. The interior features warm earth tones and coastal-inspired accents, reflecting its oceanfront setting. Guests can enjoy steaks and seafood with sweeping views of the California coastline.
The space is designed for intimate evenings, with soft lighting from chandeliers and pendant fixtures. An outdoor terrace, comfortable lounge setting, and five private dining rooms are other attractions at Mastro’s Ocean Club.
Expansive Menu at the Coastal-inspired Restaurant
The menu highlights at Mastro’s Ocean Club include the highest quality USDA Prime steaks with 13 different steak selections. It serves delectable appetizers like caviar-topped premium oysters. Renowned sushi chef Angel Carbajal brings his signature creativity to the restaurant’s sushi offerings.
In addition to its upscale menu, Mastro’s features live entertainment in its Piano Lounge. The lounge is open daily, offering cocktails and a range of wine options at varying price points. Be it vintage wines like Screaming Eagle or Bordeaux wines like First Growths, the variety is impressive.
The bar features a specialty cocktail list, non-alcoholic options, and the brand’s signature Cosmo martinis. The San Diego location also offers more than 50 wines by the glass from around the world. The bar carries over 500 spirits, including whiskeys, tequilas, cognacs, and rare selections.
Mastro’s Ocean Club is open for dinner from 5–10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar at Mastro’s Ocean Club stays open every day from 4 p.m. till closing hours.
