Valley Farm Outpost is the latest news from Valley Farm Market, recently announced by the Spring Valley specialty grocer. The Outpost is being set up on Sunrise Highway in Mount Laguna

The new destination is located 45 minutes from their Spring Valley location, en route to Julian. According to the Outpost’s Instagram, the site is formerly known as the Blue Jay Lodge and is equipped with a Restaurant, Saloon, and Cabins on property that will be available for rent.

The former Saloon will highlight Valley Farm Brewing, which we can’t wait to hear about in time. It’s bound to be a worthy stop for BBQ supplies and cocktails at their bar but is promised to be a family-friendly establishment in a woodsy setting.

Valley Farm Market in Spring Valley has been in operation since 1956, La Jolla since 2019. The markets are known for their butcher shops, prepared foods, and specialty BBQ. The grocer is dedicated to supporting local farmers and brands, also carrying a wide selection of San Diego craft beers.

The Outpost is in its initial stages of planning and updates are expected to be shared through social media by Owner and familiar face in the Valley Farm establishment, Derek Marso. Follow along with their progress on Instagram
