Vigilante Coffee Company is preparing to grow its North County footprint with a second location. San Diego Magazine recently shared news that founder Chris Vigilante will open in Vista next.
The coffee roasters have found their next home in a colorful 3,500-square-foot space on East Vista Way neighboring Tradecraft Farms Cannabis Dispensary.
With an early start in DC in 2012, Vigilante Coffee found roots in Maryland and opened its flagship roastery and cafe in Hyattsville then continued to grow with a second coffee shop near the University of Maryland in College Park.
Vigilante Coffee has since expanded their coffee lab and production capabilities in order to deliver to various retailers and offer wholesale partnerships. In 2021, Vigilante opened its first California location in Oceanside.
The new Vigilante location is expected to mirror the Oceanside cafe, featuring expertly crafted espresso drinks, specialty lattes and teas, plus wholesome acai bowls, bagels and toasts. Their cafes also implement recyclable and compostable packaging to move toward a zero waste operation.
