Wild Fork Foods, a chain market that offers high-quality meat, seafood, and ready-to-go meals, appears to be opening its first location in San Diego at 1701 Garnet Avenue.

The company will be making its area debut in Pacific Beach later this year, in the former home of the V-Outlet discount store across from Pacific Plaza, according to signage on the property, first reported by SanDiegoVille. There is no exact timeline for this opening, but it will be the first time Wild Fork Foods opens in San Diego County, with the next closest location being Laguna Niguel. The company opened its first California brick-and-mortar market in 2021 in Mission Viejo’s Trabuco Hills Shopping Center.

While the market offers a variety of delicious grocery items, there are also a handful of ready meals, such as shepherd’s pie, grass-fed beef lasagna, family-sized mac-and-cheese, garlic chicken casserole, and a lot more. On top of that, Wild Fork also offers a handful of freshly made items from the bakery, including baguettes, quiche, and cheesecake. Whether you’re ordering groceries to make a fresh meal or simply ordering the entire meal itself, Wild Fork offers free delivery straight to the doorsteps.

“Our team of experts includes a meat scientist, in-house chefs, butchers, product developers, and even nutritionists who work together to curate the best products on the planet,” according to the company’s website. “We’re here to unlock the chef inside you and help you try your hand at cooking something new in the kitchen. From the every day to the gourmet, take your cooking to the next level with easy & delicious recipes from our in-house chefs to make restaurant-quality meals at home. We can help you plan everything from weeknight dinners and date nights to backyard BBQs and holiday gatherings.”
